IXTLERA provides its customers with mixtures developed specifically for that customer. Horsehair can be mixed with itself to achieve certain stiffness requirements according to our customer specifications. It can also be mixed with other natural fibers, such as Tampico, and/or synthetic fibers. Although all the hair that we purchase is sterilized at origin, IXTLERA re-sterilizes all of the hair as part of the mixing process and as part of our commitment to quality.
